BANNU (Web Desk) - Two Frontier Corps (FC) personnel who were abducted by unidentified individuals in Bannu were found dead, police said.
According to police, the bodies of the two FC personnel were recovered from the Telgai area of Bannu.
The bodies were taken into police custody and shifted to Khalifa Gul Nawaz Teaching Hospital in Bannu for post-mortem examinations.
The two personnel had reportedly been abducted a day earlier from the Saifan Kozi Khel Karam Garhi area, police said.
The deceased were identified as Havaldar Ishaq and Sepoy Umar Hayat.
Police said an investigation into the incident was underway, while efforts were being made to determine the circumstances surrounding the abduction and deaths.

Authorities have not yet released further details about the identities of the suspected perpetrators or the motive behind the abduction and killings.
Earlier, the security forces have killed 37 terrorists in large-scale ground and air operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and areas along the Afghanistan border, according to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
According to the ministry, intelligence-based ground operations were conducted in Kohat, Hangu and Thall.
Nine terrorists were killed during operations in Kohat and Hangu on September 20.
Security forces also targeted terrorist hideouts in the border region adjoining Afghanistan. Three hideouts belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij and affiliated terrorist groups were destroyed during the operation.
