The visit comes amid continued diplomatic engagement between the two neighbouring countries and developments across the wider region.
Naqvi has visited Iran several times previously, including a recent trip in August alongside Field Marshal Asim Munir. During that visit, Pakistani and Iranian officials discussed regional tensions, the Iran-US conflict and efforts to promote peace and stability.
