TEHRAN (Web Desk) - Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has confirmed that Tehran has conveyed messages and its conditions to the United States through intermediaries.
Addressing the parliament, Ghalibaf said that while there is frequent talk of war, there is no clear plan or mechanism for bringing the conflict to a final and effective end.
He said Iran should pursue military action and negotiations simultaneously, adding that Tehran would use military force to push back its adversaries while turning to diplomacy at an appropriate time to consolidate gains achieved on the battlefield.
Ghalibaf said Iran had already communicated its messages through intermediaries and clearly outlined its conditions to the other side.

The comments came a day after Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, said Tehran had conveyed its conditions for negotiations to the United States through mediators from Qatar and Pakistan.
Rezaei said Iran was now awaiting a response from US President Donald Trump.
