WASHINGTON (Dunya News) - US President Donald Trump has vowed that the United States will never forget the September 11 attacks, speaking at a ceremony held at the Pentagon to mark the anniversary of the attacks.
Trump said thousands of people were killed in the terrorist attacks and stressed that the United States continues to fight terrorism with the same determination and commitment.
The US president said the war against terrorism remains ongoing, arguing that Washington has no choice but to continue confronting terrorist threats to protect the country and its people.
Trump pledged that his administration would take every possible measure to ensure the safety and security of the United States. He also claimed that the country is stronger today than ever before.

Addressing Iran’s nuclear programme, Trump reiterated that Iran must not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons. He said Iran would never be permitted to obtain such weapons, stressing that the United States would remain firm on the issue.
Trump also described Iran as the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism and reaffirmed Washington’s commitment to continuing its campaign against terrorism.
The remarks came as the United States commemorated the 9/11 attacks, which remain one of the most consequential events in the country’s modern history.
