Summary Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed becomes No. 1 T20I bowler in latest ICC rankings, while Babar Azam and other players improve positions.
DUBAI (Dunya News) – Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed has moved to the top of the ICC T20I bowling rankings in the latest update, with a number of other Pakistani players also recording changes in their positions.
Abrar now leads the rankings with 736 rating points, replacing Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan, who has slipped to second place. Australia’s Adam Zampa has moved up to third.
Among Pakistan’s other bowlers, Mohammad Nawaz remains eighth with 658 points, while Salman Mirza has fallen one spot to 18th with 636 points.
Shaheen Afridi has also dropped one place and now occupies 33rd position with 602 rating points.
Usman Tariq has made notable progress, rising two places to 57th with 524 points. Sufiyan Muqeem has climbed one spot to 63rd with 510 points.
Saim Ayub has moved up one place to 71st among T20I bowlers with 492 points, while Shadab Khan remains 77th with 485 points. Haris Rauf has gained two places to reach 86th with 448 points.
In the T20I batting rankings, Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan has held on to third place with 848 rating points. India’s Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma occupy the top two spots.
Saim Ayub has risen two places to 39th with 560 points, while former Pakistan white-ball captain Babar Azam has also moved up two positions to 41st with 555 points.
T20I captain Salman Ali Agha remains 45th with 547 points, while Fakhar Zaman has retained 72nd place with 481 points.
