ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Ali Nasir Rizvi has been transferred from his position as Inspector General of Islamabad Police, with Sohail Chaudhry appointed as his replacement, according to sources.
Rizvi is expected to be posted as Director General of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), the sources said. However, a formal notification confirming the appointments and transfer is yet to be issued.
The move marks a change in the leadership of the Islamabad Police, with Chaudhry set to take over as the federal capital’s police chief.
