QUETTA (Dunya News) - The Quetta Corps Commander has said that security operations in Balochistan will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated, stressing that all possible measures are being taken to establish lasting peace and stability in the province.

During a special interaction with representatives of the Pakistani media, the Corps Commander provided a detailed briefing on the overall security situation in Balochistan, the law and order environment and the security challenges facing the province.

The meeting also covered ongoing measures to promote peace and stability, as well as operations being conducted against terrorist groups and other security-related matters.

The media delegation was also shown weapons and ammunition seized during operations against terrorists.

Speaking on the occasion, the Quetta Corps Commander said security efforts would continue until the elimination of the last terrorist.

He stressed that every possible step was being taken to ensure lasting peace and stability across Balochistan.

He added that efforts to maintain law and order would go hand in hand with the province’s development, saying all available resources were being utilised to promote sustainable peace, stability and progress.

Following the meeting, the media delegation paid a special visit to CMH Quetta, where they met soldiers wounded during ongoing counter-terrorism operations in Balochistan and inquired about their health and recovery.
