ATTOCK (Dunya News) - A man identified as Shah Saud, who police sources described as an alleged hired killer, was eliminated in an exchange of fire with CCD personnel and suspected criminals on Rumian Link Road in the Attock Khurd area.
According to sources, Saud, who was allegedly associated with a criminal gang, was killed by one of his own accomplices during the encounter. He was reportedly a resident of Akora Khattak in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Police claimed to have recovered a 30-bore pistol from the deceased man's possession.
Sources said Saud was allegedly wanted in contract-killing cases in both Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He was also reportedly considered a close associate of Attaullah Khan of Jabi Nizampur.
